Many of you enjoyed my post on “Silent Morning walks” so here is another segment. For all you early risers…let’s go exploring! The “Sacred Way”<\/a>, next to the Ming Tombs outside of Beijing, is truly beautiful and very peaceful…especially if you go early before the tourist buses arrive! <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

While visiting Morocco we really enjoyed a private morning tour of Rabat’s<\/strong> Kasbah of the Udayas.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

My friend Philippe and I enjoyed a bike tour in southwestern France. Riding west first thing in the morning next to the Herault River we came upon<\/strong> the<\/strong> enchanted village of Saint Guilhem le Desert.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Being a Bogart fan, I’ll borrow his famous phrase from “Casablanca”…<\/strong>“We’ll Always Have Paris.”<\/strong><\/em> On the first morning of our July trip to Paris I went out to explore my favorite arrondissement, the 6th. I desperately needed a coffee, but the silent streets had a stronger pull!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The island of Guernsey never fails to enchant. Saint Martins is our favorite parish. We discovered some very tiny<\/strong> lanes for exploration.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

On our 2019 Guernsey trip I got up early and walked around all by myself. This is High Street in town.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Visitors and locals alike love Guernsey’s <\/strong>“Cliff Paths” <\/strong><\/a>bordering the sea. There are a total of 42 miles of paths on the island. The one above is near Moulin Huet Bay.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
