2022 was amazing on so many levels! Wonderful moments with family, friends, and an adventure or two. After Marla’s doctor gave the “OK” for European travel we were all in for 3 weeks. It was a hard recuperation!<\/strong> I was overly excited and take full responsibility! A very happy image of us at IL Pozzo restaurant high in the hills of Lakones, Corfu, last August.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The whole family was together for Thanksgiving. Lisa is the master of taking selfies!<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

My brother Gary and nephew Kekoa visited us from the Big Island.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n

We’re having a celebratory dinner after…I received some good medical news!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n

A fabulous moment with all the grandkids!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This just makes me smile! Paxton, always the consummate gentleman, with Marla on our visit to Guernsey in August.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

My niece Suzanne was instrumental in making our Guernsey trip so special!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

My nephew Steve was a superb help in driving us around the island<\/strong> his car. He and his wife Karen came from Edinburgh.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of my very favorite dinners of the year at Da Nello in St. Peter Port. My brother-in-law Vic and Suzanne’s husband Chris were with us as well.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A special day visiting “Hauteville House” in St Peter Port, the fascinating home where Victor Hugo spent his exile from France. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A special moment with our dear friend Lea<\/strong> at Sears Fine Food in San Francisco.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A wonderful dinner with Alex and her family and her parents from France at Reve Bistro in Lafayette. Alex’s Champagne was on the wine menu<\/strong>!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dinner with my nephew Mika and his partner Meg at The Gold Mirror in San Francisco.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

I loved hiking in the hills outside Boulder with the family.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

A special day was taking Paxton to see the Burmese Buddha and altar Marla and I donated to the Denver Art Museum.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A delightful dinner with a view of the Acropolis in Athens.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

A dinner with Jerry and Mary in Corfu.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Seeing Marla very happy and relaxed was a special treat! This was her favorite spot for morning coffee at our rental villa in Corfu.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I fondly remember the day I met Vaughan’s track coach at Germany Park in Dallas.<\/strong> Vaughan has inherited my love and passion for running!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I was fortunate to go on a week bike tour in Provence in Septembe,r but riding with my Girls was the year’s highlight!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

We traveled to some very beautiful places in 2022 like Candie Gardens in St Peter Port, Guernsey.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n

I rode my bike up to the beautiful tiny village of Saignon in the Luberon area of Provence.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of my travel highlights was seeing the “Street of Dyers” (Rue de Teinturiers) in Avignon.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I loved watching Marla tending to her plants this year!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n
