Our daugter Stacy is celebrating her 50th birhday! I can’t believe our youngest is having a milestone birthday! Stacy is a truly amazing wife, loving mom to 4 children, an accomplished athlete & coach, organizer, and entrepreneur. When she is passionate about something she is all in 115%. Stacy is a loving and beautiful force of nature! For this post I’ll tell a visual “Stacy Story”<\/em> beginning last week then going chronologically back in time.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A geat dinner at <\/strong>Mr. Charles<\/strong><\/a> in the Knox-Henderson area of Dallas. I remember taking our grandchildren for lunch many times at the old Highland Park Pharmacy years ago at this location.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The whole family was able to be together for the 2022 Thanksgiving celebration with Stacy’s family at Cedar Creek reservoir .<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

With the family by the Russian river in Northern California in 2021. Little did we know that 2 days later we would have to rush Marla<\/strong> to the hospital in Santa Rosa for severe heart failure!<\/strong> This was a good lesson in living each day<\/strong> fully as no one knows what the next day can bring!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Stacy thought it would be a great idea for me to compete in the Alcatraz Triathlon in San Francisco with her. Our daughter Lisa wanted to do it as well! It just about killed me, but I loved seeing how strong Stacy and Lisa were that day!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Stacy and I did an all day bike tour in the Upcountry area of Maui.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The twins are quite loving!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Marla and Stacy, my Mom and Lisa…with two amazing little cuties!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Stacy is a fabulous organizer who gets things accomplished! She was the creator then race director for Dallas’ Tour de Fleurs for a number of years<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

An all-American swimmer in high school, she won her first triathlon at 9 years old. Stacy was an outstanding triathlete and made the U.S. World Triathlon Championships on Portugal’s Madeira Island.<\/strong> Marla and I were excited to see her race!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

She gives it her all at the finish of the Championships.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was important to bring dolls on a hike.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Marla was famous for creating theme parties for Lisa and Stacy. This one was a “Mickey Mouse” themed party complete with hand-made mouse ears and a cake.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
