We may not always feel very creative at times… but I believe we are all cr<\/span>e<\/span>a<\/span>t<\/span>o<\/span>r<\/span><\/em><\/font>s<\/font> <\/em><\/span>and de<\/em><\/span>s<\/span><\/em>i<\/em><\/span>g<\/em><\/span>n<\/span>ers<\/span><\/em> in one form or another. We may be home chefs, parents, teachers, and students,… makers and builders,…artists, musicians, photographers,…caregivers,…and those of us<\/strong> simply navigating this complicated and often stressful world.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Creative ideas can just pop up unexpectedly, or we reach way back for inspiration residing in the dormant recesses of the cloud servers in our brains.<\/strong> I’ll share some photos that may help ignite both your right…and your left brain. Your brain has 100 billion neurons and 100 trillion connections…so let me try to fire up a few with the power of imagery.<\/strong> Let’s begin by…OPENING UP SOME NEW DOORS.<\/span><\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Try looking at the world in a simpler way with fewer filters and preconceptions.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Try a new path to see where it goes. You just might find the experience freeing and exhilarating!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

There is no better way to turbo-charge your brain than going to a museum. Study an art movement like the Pre-Raphaelites.<\/a><\/strong> “Ophelia<\/strong><\/em>” painted by John Everett Millais in 1851 is mesmerizing!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This was an exhibit of amazingly creative rock posters<\/strong> riffing on art-nouveau, pop, and psychedelic<\/strong> motifs.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Look up<\/span>. This is the amazingly engineered CCTV building in Beijing.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Look down.<\/strong><\/span> Intricate stone patterns at the “Humble Administrator’s Garden”, Suzhou, China.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Look closer… <\/b><\/span>a<\/strong> chandelier in Marrakech, Morocco.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

And closer…<\/span>The Amulet Market<\/a> in Bangkok.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
