WONDERFUL THANKSGIVING MEMORIES

I hope all of you had a happy and memorable Thanksgiving Holiday!  I like to think of myself firmly in the present moment most of the time, but you’ll have to excuse my wanderings down lanes of happy memories. I’m looking through a distant lens of Thanksgiving past. I love this photo of Marla and my dad getting reading to carve the turkey.

We had a sensational Thanksgiving yesterday at Lisa and Ray’s home. Logan was home from University of Southern California and Paxton flew in from boston College.

Ray did just about all the cooking and it was fabulous! Mar made the gravy.

Finishing some last minute touches.

Lisa always does a great job with the presentation!

Yum!!!

A Thanksgiving celebration to remember. Lisa had each of the 16 guests share what they are most thankful for this year.

My dad did most of the cooking during this period. My mom looks so happy! Dad really loved cats!

My mom gives my dad a cocktail (like he needed another one) with my brother Gary looking on.

The first Thanksgiving dinner I really remember was at my aunt, uncle and cousins’ home in Pleasant Hill, California. I’m smiling next to my mom holding baby Gary. My sister Patty is on the right.

Thanksgiving dinner at Stacy’s lake house in Texas last year with my wonderful Girls!

This group hug says it all! It is about the family! We are always so very grateful for these special moments. I must give a shoutout to Stan on the right who did most of the cooking last year!
