MOMENTS TO BE THANKFUL FOR IN 2020

With the Thanksgiving holiday next week, I wanted to look back at the year and reflect on happy and important moments to be thankful for. With most of 2020 in a COVID maelstrom, everything takes on special significance. I’ll begin On January 3rd at the Brown Palace Hotel in Denver. Our daughter invited us to a classic and wonderful Holiday Tea.

January: I worked with our daughter Stacy on a video production project of hers in Dallas.

January: A fun dinner out at Shanahan’s.

January: A super fun dinner party at home with family.

February: A fabulous Valentine’s Day dinner with friends in Colorado Springs.

February: A very special formal event for the Twins at the Dallas Country Club.

March: An evening with family to see Colorado Ballet.

March: Marla with the Girls on Anaehoomalu Beach on the Big Island. Precious memory!

March: With my nephew Kekoa and brother Gary on the Big Island.

March: Big Island sunsets!

May: A hike at Mount Falcon Park.

May: Lisa and Ray had a graduation celebration for Paxton.

June: Cycling has been important therapy during these COVID times!

July: Marla crossing a stream on the Anne U. White Trail in Boulder County.

August: A socially distant dinner party for Lisa’s birthday.

August: Breakfast with The Boys before Paxton went off to College in Boston.

September: We loved watching Logan compete in Cross-Country! Marla and I set up early to see him run.

September: Hiking with Logan on Flagstaff Mountain in Boulder.

November: Making pancakes for Marla with my Mother’s recipe.

November: Hiking in the neighborhood with Marla was one of our very favorite activities this year!
