We enjoyed every minute with all our family in Vail this summer. I’m with our granddaughters at La Brasserie Vail.

We are on our way to the Eagle Bahn Gondola in Lionshead.

We’re heading up the mountain to join friends and family for lunch.

The Eagle Bahn Gondola starts at the base of 8,120 feet and ends at the summit of 10,350 feet.

I cherish this 2016 photo of our daughter Stacy and her girls at the summit at 10,000+ feet.

We all met with good friends Cassie & Mike for lunch at the summit.

Is anyone hungry?

Stacy and Stan chose the favorite restaurant of their family, The Swiss Chalet at the Sonnenalp, for our family dinner.

Lovely image at dinner.

Our very happy Ladies!

Most of our group had meat fondue.

On previous family trips Paxton devised interesting games with all the cousins. He continued the fun tradition on our latest Vail trip.

Walking back from dinner to Manor Vail.

A gorgeous evening to remember!

I love getting the families together!

The Twins begin The Berry Picker Trail with their family in Vail, Colorado. It is a challenging 3.2 mile uphill hike from the base of Lionshead Village to Eagle’s Nest at the top of Vail Mountain with over 2,200 feet of elevation gain. They wanted to try to beat their Mom’s best time of 58 minutes but they were delayed by a number of moose on a part of the trail and you don’t mess with them!

At the summit.

We walked to the Betty Ford Alpine Gardens before dinner.

The weather was ideal for a stroll.

Gorgeous flowers in wonderful colors!

It was so much fun to have the grandkids in Vail!

Girls just want to have fun!

Dinner at Avanti in Vail.

We love the Sunday Vail Farmer’s Market.

Lisa treated the kids to cowboy hats on our final day. 8 nights with the family was a wonderful gift! I hope we can do it again next year!
