THE CHRISTMAS SEASON… FUN MEMORIES OF THE PAST AND THE FABULOUS PRESENT

I love the Christmas season and this past week has been wonderful! We had an incredible early Christmas present with a visit from our daughter Stacy and her family! I’ll share treasured images of the past along with the past week. As a natty two-year-old I didn’t know what to think of the big guy with the white beard!

As a four-year-old my negotiating skills had vastly improved. “Santa, let’s talk Christmas presents for a moment!”

Marla having a Santa chat at her Mom’s annual Christmas Eve party back in the day. Her niece, Jodi, took over the party in recent years.

Marla and Lisa on Santa’s knee in 2017.

Vaughan is probably saying,…“Santa, for my 18th present I would like…”

Paxton and Santa. Paxton is thinking, “Could this be an iPhone?”

An amazing Christmas with these two!

We were blessed to have my Mom, Stacy’s family along with Lisa’s family for Christmas together in 2017.

Beautiful Christmas memory of morning chaos.

The Girls this week. Eight-years-old is just magical!

Logan and Paxton came over to help with the tree a few years ago.

The boys obviously loved their presents.

Vaugan this week. He is 16.

We love our Auntie Lisa!

Brunch for Logan at the Brown Palace Hotel for the Denver Ballet Guild’s “Young Men of Distinction” this week.

Opening a few presents this week while Stacy and her family are with us. Lo is wearing one ballet pointe shoe.

Stacy says, “Quick before we go to bed,…we must go outside and look at the moon!”

The moon was stunning, and we all were reminded of my Mom’s fascination with the mysterious, glowing globe.

I flashed back to my Mom’s last Christmas visit with us in 2017 at 98-years-old. Family was everything to her and she loved seeing everyone! She passed away 2 months afterwards.

I wish you all a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays. May your New Year be joyous, happy, and healthy as possible!

What a wonderful gift from Stacy. The best she could give. Lisa snd her family are right there, snd how kind of her to make a special dinner you all.
Sending much love to the two of you. Dick, you were a handsome little guy on Santa’s knee. Great memories decades ago snd making more today. Merry Christmas!
