Marla and I drove up to Waimea to meet my brother at the farmer’s markets in Waimea. We hugged extra hard as the loss of Kekoa was so difficult for everyone!

It has been 3 years since we’ve been to the “Pukalani Stables Farmer’s Market” in Waimea. We were super happy the “Red Barn” food truck was still there! Their grilled cheese sandwiches are totally amazing!

We happened to be staying on the Big Island in 2020 when COVID arrived. All the Waimea farmer’s markets were closed except a small one outside of town.
