PAXTON IS MOVING BACK TO DENVER AND WILL TEACH AT THE SAME SCHOOL MARLA TAUGHT IN 1969-70! And…Happy Birthday!

Our grandson Paxton is moving back to Denver and we couldn’t be happier! He previously taught history at a Boston middle school. Paxton was offered a position at Cole Charter Middle School in Denver. We all are super excited for him! Cole is where Marla taught in 1969-70 after receiving her masters degree at the University of Denver. It was a DPS school at the time.

Happy 24th Birthday, Paxton! We were present at your birth in 2001 and fortunate to spend many weekends together at our home. Come along as we look at his amazing journey.

I had a feeling Paxton was pretty smart when he first read the Financial Pages. Well,…maybe he just liked sitting with me.

Paxton tries reading the inscription in the Asian area of Sunset View Cemetery in El Cerritos, CA. He is almost fluent in Mandarin.

Even as a young man Paxton really enjoyed conversations with adults.

He loves being with his family!

We took Paxton and Logan for a trip to Southeast Asia and Bali in 2019. We are with our guide on the Chao Phraya River in Bangkok.

One of my favorite trips was in 2020 at a large home rental on the Big Island. We had a total of 12 in the house. Paxton and his cousins love being together. They also love POG juice and Mai Chips!

In 2022 Marla and I connected with Paxton while he was studying in Paris and afterwards we all went to the Island of Guernsey to visit family.

I planned a fabulous 2024 birthday lunch in the French mountain town of Gorbio high above Menton. Having all our family together was a happy miracle.

A 2025 dinner with Paxton as our surprise guest! His cousins, Vaughan and the twins, were staying with us as well.

A wonderful dinner on our deck with Paxton and Mom & Dad.

And…just like so many times before, Paxton stayed over night and…he made scratch pancakes. Marla and I were in heaven!
