On this 2018 Thanksgiving Holiday I have been reflecting on a myriad of people and things to be supremely grateful for!  Marla has been so important on my journey this year… bringing kindness, wisdom,  fortitude,…and love when I’ve needed it the most! Thank you!

 I am thankful for all the firefighters and first responders risking their lives to help people affected by the fires in California. So many people in California have lost everything!

I am thankful for this year’s wonderful wedding anniversary at Splendido in Beaver Creek.

I am thankful for my orthopedic surgeon…and my Physical Therapist! With exercises it is getting better every day! I may have to give up my dream of being a “knee model”….but I will be back cycling the steep hills again this summer!

I am thankful for Stacy and Lisa for their love and support!

I am thankful to connect with my brother Gary and nephew Kekoa on the Big Island this spring!

I am thankful to have visited my niece Suzanne and husband Chris (they flew in from Guernsey) and nephew Steve and wife Karen in Edinburgh Scotland. We spent most of the time reminiscing about their Mom (my sister) and my Mom.

I am thankful for the opportunity to visit my aunt and cousins this year!

I am thankful for having dinner with my nephew Mika, partner Meg, and his son, Eli, and girlfriend. Also, it was great connecting with Mika’s daughter, Adriane this spring.

I am thankful to spend the day with my cousin Shan.

I am thankful to connect with great friends like Lea and many friends from college and High School this year!

I am thankful for connecting with our good friend Alex and her family!

I am thankful for cycling with Stacy in Vail this summer! 

I am thankful for transformative travels with Marla this year!

I am thankful for fabulous sunsets.

I am thankful for people who love sunsets as much as I do!

I am thankful for the creatives in our family!

I am thankful for the best Mai Tais I’ve ever tasted this year at Kimo’s in Lahaina!

I am thankful for people who give it their all!

 

I am grateful for the adventurous in our family!

I am grateful for wonderful family dinners this year!

I am thankful to be able to cycle up steep roads like this one on the way up to Erice in Sicily this year.

 

I am thankful for birthday celebrations. 

I am thankful for a partner who loves to explore!

I am thankful for this breakfast moment,…one of the best ever for us!

And….did I mention sunsets?
