MEMORIES OF CHRISTMAS PAST

I love going back to Christmas Holiday pictures of the past. I hear the laughter of young children, see colored lights flickering, smells of cinnamon & eggnog, and the sweet tastes of stollen bread and Christmas cookies.

The tree is hung with ornaments of the family. There is even one of me with a mustache! “Yikes!”

Marla’s Mom & Dad always held a big Christmas eve party complete with a Santa!

The Twins really love Christmas!

We loved it when the Boys came over to help with the tree!

Marla and Lisa are telling Santa what they want for Christmas.

Our daughter purchased this on a trip to Gump’s in San Francisco.

A child’s sense of wonder by the tree.

Lisa and Stacy having fun near the tree.

This image is one of my favorites, the twins wearing their new princess dresses.

Owen opens a present as the rest of the Boys watch.

Logan looks very happy!

Dinners on Christmas day were always lively affairs! We always had Christmas Crackers! Marla did a beautiful job with this one!

Time for Christmas crackers!

Paxton always dresses up for Christmas dinner! Love his bowtie!

We had many heavy falls of snow at Christmas. Marla is knee-deep but having fun!

Vaughan had never seen so much snow!

We did a little posing on this Christmas.

This is WAY back in the day! Lance, our Great Pyrenees, loved Christmas as he always received a present or two as well.

Christmas eve fun with Vaughan, Owen, and Lisa at our niece Jodi’s home.

One year during the Christmas Holidays we went to the Glide Memorial Church in San Francisco, always a lively occasion.

The sound of paper being unwrapped with gusto!

My Mom watches the Girls and their new toys. 2017 was her last Christmas with us. She flew independently to Denver for Christmas at 98 years old! We all miss her!

I love when we serve “Buche de Noel.”

I’ll always remember this memory of Christmas with my little brother Gary and my sister Pat! We were living on an Air Force base in Frankfurt Germany. The tree was small and there were just a couple of presents, but we had the love of family!
