VISUAL MEMORIES OF AN AMAZING YEAR

The year 2020 will be remembered as the worst of times for so many,…and the best of times as well. I enjoy my annual look-back by selecting a few favorite images beginning with January and moving to the present day. I really don’t need an excuse to celebrate but my birthday is a great event to begin!

An early birthday celebration for our Granddaughters.

I was very honored to attend a formal event with our granddaughters at the Dallas Country Club.

Raising a glass or two in February.

We couldn’t feel more proud of our daughters.

A Big Island sunset in March.

A rare and supremely wonderful moment when all the cousins can be together!

With our youngest.

Seizing the moment before the COVID lockdown on our return.

I rode my bike almost everyday.

Getting outside was just what the doctor ordered! We found new trails on Flagstaff Mountain above Boulder.

A birthday party for Lisa.

And of course our favorite Rose Champagne, Andre Clouet!

Marla tending to her plants, including tomatoes that moved inside the house in September.

A great joy this year was watching Logan in his Cross Country meets!

Neighborhood walks when weather permitted was an elixir for the body, mind,…and soul.

A socially distant Christmas eve dinner at our daughter’s home.

I finished three photo books, with Marla’s help editing, by the end of December. If you’ve made them you understand how time-consuming they are!

I hope your year was an experience to remember on all levels. I’m wishing you and yours a healthy, happy, and transformative New Year.
