SHOE SHOPPING ADVENTURE IN LAS VEGAS

All the top Vegas hotels are packed with ultra luxury boutiques and Aria’s “Shops at Crystals” is no exception. I have to get in shape for shopping excursions so I headed to the fitness center for a workout.

One of the biggest surprises when visiting the Aria Hotel and the adjacent buildings on the campus is the art, one of the largest collections of outdoor art in the world. The Henry Moore sculpture above, “Reclining Connected Forms,” is at the entrance to “The Shops at Crystals.”

Each of the boutiques is a treat for window shoppers. The shoes above at Dolce & Gabbana actually are NOT initials for…Dick Gentry!

Christian Louboutin featured these $1395 “sneakers” for men who are not afraid! I just might be a little afraid if that “toe” hit me!

There was a time when I would have worn these from Christian Louboutin.

Marla thought for a moment,…”Hmmm, what could I wear these with!”

Marla savors the display windows at Louis Vuitton. LV’s French owner, LVMH, owns a vast array of iconic brands including Dom Perignon, Paris department store Le Bon Marche, Dior, Givenchy, Bulgari, etc. Their store is a wondrous collection of style and architecture.

Louis Vuitton’s “Archlight Sneaker”was a bit out of Mar’s budget for a workout shoe at $1,170.

The “LV Archlight Sneaker Boot” sells for $1350.

The “LV Archlight Flat Ankle Boot” runs $1350.

Versace $995 “Men’s Chain Reaction Tribute Sneakers” were a bit too much for yours truly!

We both thought these Roberto Cavalli “Viper Sneakers” were very cool!

These men’s $2,135 Philipp Plein rhinestone embellished Hi-top sneakers were way way too rock & roll for me. I’ll stick to my Nike’s!

The Shops at Crystals were beautifully decorated for the Chinese New Year.

We walked to the Aria Express Tram stopping at a few galleries nearby. We took the tram to the Bellagio then walked to the Forum Shops at Caesar’s.

The Blancpain boutique in the Forum Shops designed this window vignette with miniature chairs and screen for the Chinese New Year.

The H & M store felt more in our price range. I listened to the DJ in an elevated booth spinning tunes while Marla shopped. We really enjoyed our little shopping adventure and hope you did as well.
